Herts Hash House Harriers
A Drinking Club with a Running Problem?
In memory of family, friends & the Hash House Harriers Founder 2nd Lt A.S.I Gispert, lost in conflict, we combined our regular Hash Trail into our own Royal British Legion Poppy Run, marking the 100th Anniversary of the beginning of the Armistice of 1918 in the Great War
We completed a 5 mile (8k) or the shorter 3.14 mile (5.22k) options
Times were irrelevant as we stopped at each of the 10 unique St Albans Abbey Parish Memorials to pay our respects, as well as the City's Remembrance Service & the Verdun Horse Chestnut Tree
All Monies going to The RBL Poppy Fund
If you have half a mind to Hash, that's all you'll Need!
New runners/drinkers welcome!
