A pleasant summer evening found a sizeable Pack forming outside the Crown and Falcon. A slight delay as we waited for Mumblehead and hound to arrive. The circle was called, Hares introduced and a Virgin welcomed in the form of Dan. Although about 8 foot tall, he was only 15 so technically a Horror! 3 EHMR attendees tonight - Dillon, Ollie and Dan - the new Hash Boy Band me thinks??
Good to see Mark E Mark and Lobby too. Lobby had bought a rather large hound to walk and I was tempted to throw a saddle on him and ride him around the trail!
After last week’s lack of flour, we set off hoping that the Hares, Kylie and Milf, had cleared the flour section of Tesco for this rural trail!
I'm no good at recalling where we ran but we did touch upon a part of Puckeridge that will always be synonymous with our dear departed Hasher, Goose.
It was a well laid trail - absolutely beautiful countryside, a little bit of roadwork, goats, short and long cuts and a sweetie stop - so all in all a jolly good jaunt...... although safely away from the Circle, I can now admit that myself and Where's Wally? did get slightly lost towards the end of a Long Cut. We resorted to technology to guide us to the pub where a skittish CPL Jones (Paxo) was just about to set off to look for us! Don't panic!!
Sitting in the pub garden we were treated to a photo album of Max and Alfa's safari. No cheesy chips though....
Dan's mum had arrived as it was bedtime but was enticed from her car by Milf after finding out she did a bit of running.
With no RA and a poorly Sloppy, I decided to stand in to do the honours. The Virgin was rewarded with a fizzy pop. The Hares were out for a good trail and Paxo awarded Max Factor a down-down after suggesting Alfa learnt to do hairdressing so he could give Max a blow-job....... or something like that.
Highlights from this trail:
Yet again, Hertfordshire countryside is breathtaking.
Milf pouncing on The Virgin’s mum and trying to convince her we are all normal (with names like Paxo, Spermhead, Fliptop...)
Lobby being dragged straight across the circle by a very large Labrador...that should have been a down-down?!!!
